・investigate why / how ...：なぜ/どのように〜なのかを調べる
例）We investigated why the machine stopped. （私たちは機械が止まった理由を調べた。）
・be investigated：調査される(受け身の形)
例）The accident is being investigated by the police. （その事故は警察によって調査されているところだ。）
・「investigate about」とは言わないよ。調べる対象をそのまま後ろに置こう。
・名詞は investigation(調査)。セットで覚えると便利。
