・arm in arm：腕を組んで
例）They walked arm in arm along the beach. （彼らは腕を組んで浜辺を歩いた。）
・arm A with B：AにBを持たせて武装させる
例）The captain armed the crew with wooden swords. （船長は乗組員たちに木の剣を持たせた。）
・take up arms：武器を取る、戦う姿勢になる
例）The villagers took up arms to protect their home. （村人たちは故郷を守るために武器を取った。）
・「武器」の意味では、ふつう複数形のarmsで使うよ。
・be armed with 〜で「〜を身につけている」という意味にもなるよ。
