・on the ... side of A：Aの…側に
例）The bakery is on the left side of the street. （そのパン屋は通りの左側にある。）
・be on A's side：Aの味方である
例）Don't worry. I'm always on your side. （心配しないで。私はいつでもあなたの味方だよ。）
・side by side：並んで、隣り合って
例）We sat side by side on the bench. （私たちはベンチに並んで座った。）
・a ... side of A：Aの…な一面
例）This book shows a new side of the artist. （この本はその画家の新しい一面を見せてくれる。）
・「味方」の意味では前置詞 on を使って on your side と言うよ。
・side by side は「並んで」の決まり文句。セットで覚えよう。
