・parent + 名詞：親の〜(名詞の前で形容詞のように使う)
例）The parent bird carried food to the nest. （親鳥が巣にえさを運んだ。）
・「両親」はふつう複数形の parents。片方だけなら a parent と言うよ。
・父か母かを区別せずに使えるのが parent の便利なところだよ。
