・historical + 名詞：「歴史の、歴史に関する」の意味で名詞を修飾する

・be based on historical facts：「史実に基づいている」という定番の言い方
例）The movie is based on historical facts. （その映画は史実に基づいている。）
・historical figure：「歴史上の人物」という決まった言い方

・似ている historic は「歴史的に重要な」、historical は「歴史に関する」と覚えればOK。
